Recorded intermittently over the course of twelve months, Peoples consists of three songs written about different characters: an oil executive, a Chocolatier, and a sibling.

The recording sessions commenced in April 2014 when Brett Wildeman (guitar/vocals), Thomas Biederman (trumpet) and John Tipping (percussion) set out to record an EP at Coastal Enclave Studio in Gibsons BC. With Thomas moving to the pursue further education and John temporary relocating to the England, Wildeman recruited additional personnel as he fine tuned the songs.

The release of Peoples coincides with Wildeman’s cycle touring adventures of the Pacific Northwest, as he spends the summer of 2015 cycling and penning material for his next album.

All proceeds from album sales will fund the musician’s trip, as he explores back roads and rural highways of BC, Oregon, Montana and beyond.

The tour is supported by Tubus, Akel, Sitka, Ethical Bean, & Townsite Brewing.
